New to the AntHills and mountain biking

Postby asamps on Apr 25th, 2011, 10:40 am

Hey Everyone. They call me Aaron. I'm from Houston originally but spent most of my life in Sugar Land area. Now I live probably a mile from the anthills and just decided to take advantage of everything Hershey Park has to offer. I really love it out there so far. I grew up riding bmx and skateboarding alot but never knew much about mountain bikes so any advice on what type of mountain bike is primarily used on these types of trails would be helpful. Just riding a few months out here I can already feel a need for an upgrade from my schwinn walmart mountain bike. I guess it's not the worst bike out there but it's certainly not the best. Anyways just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully I'll see some of you out riding. I try to ride out there 4 or 5 times a week since I live literally not even a mile away. Take Care.

If you liked BMX then get a single speed mountain bike. The girls will all be like OMG your so strong OMG WOW! And the guys will keep quiet.
I'm keeping myself kinda heavy so i can build my legs.
